If you LOVE Hip Hop and want to do more with your style & funk, have we got news for you! 5th Element is formed by AUDITION ONLY, which is held annually. If you feel you have the desire to do more with your Hip Hop skills, please join us for this exciting and innovative opportunity!

Hip Hop Flavor
The crew trains in various styles of Hip Hop consisting of Breakin’, Street, Pop, Old and New School. Fifth Element also deals with cardiovascular training, circuit strength, and a positive attitude towards overall health and fitness. This year, the crew has performed for the Phoenix Coyotes pre-game entertainment, participated and performed at the Furious Styles Crew Hip Hop Expo and has trained at Millennium in North Hollywood. Take Five Dance is proud to be the sponsor of this new and innovative addition to the west side dance scene.

The 5th Element Commitment
5th Element is a Hip Hop Crew, in their 2nd year of existence. We look for Take Five Dance students who are currently enrolled and attend at least one weekly Hip Hop class or those who are willing to become future Take Five Dance students in conjunction with taking classes. We look for talented and dedicated individuals who want to do more than an hour of Hip Hop each week and who look for greater outlets to perform Hip Hop Choreography!

We plan to perform at city shows, carnivals, conventions and competitions. Members of 5th Element will be asked to participate in at least two extra hours a month as well as additional time that will be needed to learn and perfect new choreography on a monthly basis. Extra rehearsals will either be held on Fridays from 7-9pm, Saturdays from 7-9am or Mondays from 8-9pm.

5th Element crew members, pay a monthly membership fee of $25.00. Dues are for original choreography, rehearsal time to learn choreography and to keep routines at performance quality. Dues are also used for music purchase, edits, time spent on music search as well as studio rehearsal time and utilities.
